Don't Ask is a concept-album-come-cabaret about the ins and outs of discovering your sexuality in a world where sex isn’t talked about. This two-person-show is a fusion of folk/rock music and verbatim theatre and follows the true story of Akansha Hungenahally, a first generation Indian-Australian woman, and the many men who have informed her understanding of sex and consent over the years.
Written, composed, and performed by Akansha, this show is a hilarious and heartbreaking series of original songs and anecdotes depicting her many fun and frivolous sexual escapades, and her ongoing relationship with intimacy and love.
