THE STAN EFFECT

Should Time Affect Nothing?! After centuries of classical music recitals, The STAN Effect is performer-composer Brian KM’s answer to what a french horn recital isn’t but could be. He and his friendly computer, Stan explore all that’s possible when you combine the most acoustic instrument in the world with the least, pushing each one to the limits. They are wired to have a great show!

Performer-Composer Brian KM is a high-octane horn soloist whose stunning multi-sensory shows for horn and live electronics transport audiences into other realms of listening. His raw musical energy, combined with a relentless and athletic approach to music making have redefined what it means to see a french horn recital.

Described by audiences as “the most original I’ve ever seen!”, “stunning”, “magical”, and by his students as “way less boring than I expected!”, Brian KM’s vision for a new classical music is here.

*Suitable for audience aged 12+.
