Written by Jason Robert Brown (Parade, Songs For A New World), THE LAST FIVE YEARS is an intensely personal look at the rise and fall between successful novelist Jamie and not so successful actress Cathy. Aside from it’s unique, chronologically forward and reverse narratives, this production of THE LAST FIVE YEARS has an innovative, musical treat in store for new and returning audiences alike.

Two bright lights of Melbourne live music and theatre unite, with Andrew Kroenert (TPC’s Jesus Christ Superstar, Brigadoon, Company) and Katie Weston (CLOC’s Jesus Christ Superstar, Godspell, The Baker Boys), to present a never before seen take on this outstanding piece of contemporary music theatre. This special production of THE LAST FIVE YEARS will be directed by James Cutler ( Stage Art’s In The Heights, English National Opera’s Carousel, VCA Master of Directing) and musically directed by David Wisken (Goodspeed Institute of Musical Theatre, Connecticut, Matilda the Musical).
