THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF THE THEATRE IN 43.7 MINUTES – 2021 MICF

2020 tried for the knockout blow, but The Theatre can’t get Coronavirus. The time is ripe for Fishlace Jones, Australia’s Best Known Unknown Actor, to find a pulse in that resilient old wench ‘The Arts’.

We’ll revisit The Festival of Dionysia and its worship of the Phallus which brought fertility to women.

We’ll touch on plays that took a casual 40 days to perform.

And explore Middle Ages Special Effects, where to represent the burning down of a house, the Players simply…burnt down a house.

Performed by Charlie Ranger

“His banter is not only witty but insanely quick in delivery!” — Theatre People
