From Dynasty in the 80’s to Sex and the City in the 90’s and all the way to The Real Housewives of today; surely the portrayal of women can’t get anymore over the top and outrageous… or can it?

Susan-ann Walker and Sally Bourne are redressing the balance with their new show; SUBTLE, an evening of inoffensive comedy, demure outfits and delicate vocals!

SUBTLE is the latest work from two of the biggest voices in cabaret. Susan-ann (Funny Girl, Once, Xanadu, Menopause the Musical) and Sally (Brigadoon, Company, The Boy From Oz, Shane Warne the Musical) are finally back!

Their first show: YUMMY played to packed houses at The Butterfly Club, was one of the headline acts at the inaugural Melbourne Cabaret Festival, sold out at the 2010 Melbourne Fringe Festival and toured to Sydney’s Seymour Centre. In 2013 they returned with THE YUMMY BURLESQUE HOUR which became the highest grossing show in The Butterfly Club’s history and earned them a Green Room nomination for best original songs in cabaret.
