The wonderful baritone Max of Burgundy Blue is jetting off for a while so the group decided to use this opportunity to perform together.

Fresh off their fabulous album launch concert last year (available now on Spotify), their new project, “I’ll Be Back”, features plenty of new arrangements and old personal favourites. Old songs, new songs, red songs, (many many) blue songs; there’ll be something for everyone!

Join us on March 19th at 3pm for close harmonies, close friends, and close encounters of the A Cappella kind from your favourite Melbourne-based 5-part contemporary jazz-adjacent A Cappella group.

Burgundy Blue is a dynamic mixed vocal quintet from Melbourne, specialising in close harmony and jazz-adjacent styles. After bursting onto the A Cappella scene in 2016, Burgundy Blue finished as National Champions of the AusAca Australian A Cappella competition in 2019, having also represented Australia at the Hong Kong International A Cappella Contest in Hong Kong in 2018.

Since then, Burgundy Blue has been refining their sound and carving out a unique place in the A Cappella world, drawing on influences from groups such as The Idea of North and The Real Group but also utilising each members' diverse qualities and singing backgrounds. Come hear their captivating arrangements, exquisite harmonies and enchanting personalities live on stage!
