One evening, a woman enters a farmhouse where she was drug raped twenty four years earlier, to confront the man she believes committed the crime.
For sheep farmers Jeff and Claire Gibbs, this will be the biggest test of their marriage. For Cynthia, it may be the resolution she’s been waiting for.
Gibbo is a fascinating exploration of the wrongs we do to each other, and the consequences of those wrongs – for the survivor, the perpetrator, and those who love them – even decades later. The crime of drug rape is committed in the certainty that the victim will never find out. But every rule has its exceptions.
And for Jeff Gibbs, it just might be harvest time.
